On May 19, more than 150 children and parents came to Oster School in San Jose for the third annual family day presented by the agency’s Deaf & Hard of Hearing Program in collaboration with Deaf Counseling, Advocacy, and Referral Agency (DCARA) and the Oster School Deaf/HOH Program. While parents attended workshops on accessible technology and shared their experiences with other parents, the children participated in crafts, games, and activities. Then, everyone came together for a barbeque and entertainment.
Local businesses, foundations, and individuals contributed to the day’s success.
