FAMILY & CHILDREN SERVICES ANNOUNCES SPANISH-LANGUAGE DV GROUP IN EAST PALO ALTO
Agency Brings Its Domestic Violence Offender Groups to East Palo Alto Community

[Palo Alto, CA] Family & Children Services, the San Mateo and Santa Clara county-serving health and human services agency, has announced the formation of a new Domestic Violence Offender Group to serve East Palo Alto. The group, which will be offered in Spanish, meets on Thursday evenings at the East Palo Alto City Hall and is for men only.

Family & Children Services’ 52-week groups is certified to meet court-mandated requirements for both San Mateo and Santa Clara counties. By participating in the group, participants learn to build positive relationships with their partners and children, understand the impact of their actions, and be accountable for their choices.

For more information or to arrange an intake appointment, please call Family & Children Services at 650-326-6576. Spanish language assistance is available. Fees are set on a sliding fee scale.

More groups, such as Parenting Without Violence, Child Abuse Treatment, and Adult Anger Management & Accountability, as well as groups for women and in other languages, may be added, based on need and interest.
