6-Week Divorce Support Group for Adults Accepting Registration
A few spaces are available for Palo Alto group starting August 26

[Palo Alto] Family & Children Services is accepting registrations for a new round of its 6-week Divorce & Separation Support and Education group. A few spaces are available; registration will close on July 16. This group for adults is facilitated by Nancy Klimp, a licensed marriage and family therapist with expertise in divorce issues. All meetings are held in Palo Alto. The series will begin on August 26.

The Divorce & Separation Support Group addresses a variety of themes pertaining to this significant life transition. Topics include strengths, healing, children’s process, resources, challenging situations, the future, and other topics identified by the group participants. Fees for the group are set on a sliding scale.

The group will meet weekly at Family & Children Services’ office at 375 Cambridge Avenue in Palo Alto beginning on Wednesday, August 26 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. The group will conclude September 30th. Fees are set on a sliding scale.

Family & Children Services has supported families in transition since 1948. The agency also offers one-to-one counseling for children, youth, and adults, as well as couples and family counseling.
