Our Approach to Care

In order to best serve the needs of our clients, we ensure our programs and services are:

Accessible.
To ensure our programs and services are accessible, we offer them in a wide variety of locations, not just at our two offices. By bringing care into the community, we reduce the challenges posed by transportation and time that can keep clients from obtaining care. All fee-based services are offered on a sliding scale, making care affordable.

Comprehensive.
Most challenges do not exist individually. For example, a parent in treatment for substance abuse may have children at home in need of counseling for what they have experienced. Since we have such a broad range of services, clients can seek help with multiple challenges and the professionals treating them can collaborate in developing treatment plans and monitoring progress. When multiple family members are facing challenges, or one issue affects more than one member of a family, we can connect each of them to the appropriate services, either through our agency or a partner.

Innovative.
We are proud of our reputation in the community and the recognition we have received. Our Early Childhood Services program, for example, has been recognized as a model for early identification of children's mental health needs and prevention of abuse and neglect.
