Services for Youth and Adults who are Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer or Questioning
Individuals working through sexual orientation issues often experience feelings of separation, isolation, and fear. Talking about these feelings in a supportive, culturally sensitive environment helps develop positive self-esteem and a strong identity. Professional counseling can also ease the difficulties of the coming out process.

We offer both individual and group counseling.
Counseling helps members identify and manage such issues as: “coming out,” children and adults living with HIV/AIDS, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, relationships, medication management and side effects, workplace issues, communication, living with HIV/AIDS, and grief and loss. Psychiatric evaluation and medication monitoring is available.

These services are available in English, American Sign Language, and Spanish.

Locations & Fees
Appointments are available in our San Jose and Palo Alto offices.

Fees are set on a sliding fee scale; insurance is accepted. Students may be eligible for a number of free counseling based on their school district. Youth in Santa Clara County between the ages of 16 and 25 may qualify for free services. Please call for information.
