The various programs offered by Family & Children Services can be broken down into the following service categories:

Anger Management Training and Domestic Violence Prevention: helping to break the cycle of violence in the home, through anger management training and in other ways. more

Childcare Center-Based Services: bringing therapists and psychiatrists to childcare centers to help those centers deal with childhood mental health issues. more

Clinical Training Program: internship training for students of marriage and family therapy, social work, and psychology. more

Family Finance Education and Loans: providing low-interest loans and training in critical financial topics such as budgeting. more

Mental Health and Family Counseling: mental health care for individuals and families. These services include specialized services for targeted populations and individuals with serious mental illness. more

School-Based Programs: bringing professionals into county schools to help students overcome mental health issues and improve their scholastic aptitude. more

Services for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing: providing mental health care, services to help the parents of children recently diagnosed as Deaf or Hard of Hearing, and intervention and education to prevent and treat abuse. more

Substance Abuse Treatment: helping individuals and families both overcome substance abuse, and address its consequences. more

Support Services for Youth Exiting Foster Care: support for youth soon to age out of the foster care system. more

Workplace Services: helping employees address work stress and providing them with conflict mediation, crisis counseling, and Employee Assistance Program benefits. more
