Services for Teens & Young Adults (ages 13-21)  
   
 

We teach life-skills training and intensive case management services to youth aging out of the foster care system so they can live as independent, productive adults.
Independent Living Program

We offer on-site school services to youth who are having emotional or behavioral problems such as depression, relationship issues, or who are at-risk of gang activity or other violence-prone behaviors.
School-Based Services

We provide effective substance abuse prevention, intervention, and treatment.
Substance Abuse Treatment (for 18+)

We help parents and children work through the challenges of adolescence.
Mental Health Counseling

We counsel youth and young adults who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, or questioning and subsequently experiencing depression or family, relationship, and school challenges.

Family & Children Services was founded to address the mental health needs of veterans returning from World War II. As the agency saw our local community increasingly impacted by recent military events, especially in Iraq and Afghanistan, we chose to take steps to respond, adding our mental health expertise and family support skill to the local effort. . . . more
