Mentors to youth
Youth in our Independent Living Program (ILP) are preparing to exit or recently exited foster care or recently been emancipated. Those of us who have made this life transition know how much there is to learn and how challenging it can be. You can provide youth with encouragement, share your life lessons, and make a real difference in their success. In addition to mentoring, volunteers also offer workshops for the youth on cooking, budgeting, interviewing skills, relationships, and other useful topics.
